Prerequisite: Successful completion with an approved FSS faculty member of Shamanic Extraction Healing Method™ Online Advanced Training and its pre-requisites.
Note: Power Soul Retrieval Method™ Advanced Training is one of the online trainings required for completion of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Online Core Shamanic Healing Certificate Program.
Learning shamanism is not just a matter of acquiring methods, but also of increasing spiritual power and knowing how to use it. From the shamanic point of view, people who are not spiritually "power-filled" are prone to illness, accidents, and misfortune. Anyone who has had a traumatic experience may lose a portion of their soul, of their spiritual essence. There are also other reasons this may occur. In this workshop, participants will learn about soul loss and soul retrieval from a shamanic perspective. There will be a particular emphasis on the importance of shamanic power to do successful soul retrieval. Participants will also learn how to re-empower a client's soul after it has been returned so that the client is once again spiritually power-filled, leading to greater health and well-being. This soul retrieval training is based on worldwide core principles and methods. It does not require Western psychological perspectives and practices.
This experiential online shamanic healing training taught by FSS faculty members is offered via Zoom video conferencing, which is free to individual users. Participants will see and hear each other and interact in pairs and small groups, as well as in the full circle. (All students must participate with audio and video and access the meeting through their own individual device.) Instructions for Zoom and workshop access will be provided by the instructor after registration. The course consists of 10.5 hours of training. This training is not meant for those who simply wish to receive shamanic healing. Students will be both providing and receiving Soul Retrieval healing in this class.
FOR THE MEETING. Please have handy a notebook/pen to take notes, a rattle, a drum (optional), a blanket and pillow, and an eye covering (bandana or Mindfold) to block ambient light. Before the workshop, consider a comfortable chair or place to sit or lie down for journeys. Many Zoom participants find the use of headphones or ear buds an easier listening experience. Download participant instructions for use of Zoom, including audio/video settings. (Electronic recording — audio, video, photographic — and the use of computers are not permitted during the workshop.)
